Mr. Jahangir Alam Sharker joined as Managing Director & CEO at 3i LOGISTICS Private Limited in early 2018, responsible for driving the company’s growth and operations both nationally and internationally. He has helped transform 3i LOGISTICS Group into a high performing business with a commitment to sustainable development. Within a short period, he has contributed enormously to elevate the company to its excellence level, ensuring sustainable value creation for its shareholders, employees and stakeholders. Mr. Jahangir completed his MBA degree in Global Marketing from the North South University (NSU) and Masters of Professional Accounting (AIS), University of Dhaka. He is a member of the Certified Chartered Accountants and MIPA (UK & Australia). He has 22 years of professional experience in supply chain & logistics, projects, shipping, aviation and freight forwarding industry performing different “C” level roles across 5 European global logistics organizations including DHL Supply Chain, ABX LOGISTICS, DSV Air & Sea, DACHSER SE and Agility Global Integrated Logistics with full P&L responsibility. During his careers he has received several international trainings like Management Development Program, Global Leadership, Senior Management Program etc. from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Singapore, UK, Australia and USA, which has further aided him to shape-up and strengthen his leadership skills. Accomplished a colorful career in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Solutions, 3PL/4PL, Contract Logistics, Project Logistics, Mr. Sharker worked in various leadership roles in Singapore, Bangladesh & other South Asian countries. Being a logistics & supply chain professional Mr. Sharker is very much passionate about the industry. He has been playing vital role in connecting people, communities and businesses around the globe. He has depth knowledge about the logistics and supply chain industry and involved in youth education, advocacy and conservation in this area. During this period, he led many relevant initiatives to serve the interests of the nation and industry, as well as those of FICCI, BGCCI, JBCCI, BAFFA, BCCC and Rotary International etc.
